IRLEN PASS TRAINING SEMINAR
(初階篩檢認證PASS 培訓課程)

PASS (“Pre-Assessment for Scotopic Sensitivity” 之略) 是㇐套專為初階篩檢而設計的測試工具。通過PASS可以確定個案的閱讀問題和學業狀況是否跟“光敏綜合症” (Irlen® Syndrome)有關, 初步了解症狀特徵和嚴重程度，並負責推薦個案做進㇐步的專業評估以及矯正措施。

初階篩檢通常在短時間內即可完成。很適合需要關心有此困擾的學生和民眾，但時間有限的專業人士；或者未獲專業篩檢資格的㇐般人士做這樣的專業服務。

報名 PASS 課程者無須受申請資格的審核，但申請人必須參加並完成半日專業培訓工作坊，方可被美國 Irlen Institute 授予 PASS 認證書 。

    這是專為有以下專業背景的人士設計的二日培訓課程。對象包括：職業教師，特教老師，專業輔導老師，學校心理師，心理諮商師；言語治療師，職能治療師，職業家教等專業人員。

    課程大綱

    ➔ 詳細介紹 <光敏綜合症> (簡稱”SSS 症”)～Irlen® Syndrome

    ➔ 學會如何辨識SSS 症對象，並了解其共有的學習問題和行為特徵

    ➔ 明確理解視知覺是如何影響人的閱讀, 數學, 抄寫和寫作等能力

    ➔ 進㇐步了解視知覺跟遠近感和感覺統合的關係

    ➔ 學會如何使用IRPS 測試工具，專業應用和評估

    ➔ 介紹專業膠片(Irlen® Colored Overlays)的活用和其他有效的干預措施

    ➔ 第二天特設教學實習～模擬現場IRPS 篩檢

    Certified Irlen® Screener Training Workshop

    Join us in one of our two-day seminars specifically designed for teachers,reading or resource specialists, school psychologists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, counselors, learning specialists, tutors,and educational therapists.

    In this 2-day workshop, you will learn:

    　→　 How to identify individuals with Irlen® Syndrome
    　→　 The common learning and behavioral characteristics of individuals with Irlen® Syndrome
    　→　 How perception affects reading, math, copying, and writing skills
    　→　　 How perception can affect depth perception and sensory integration
    　→　 How to test using the Irlen Reading Perceptual Scale (IRPS)
    　→　 A variety of intervention strategies including Irlen® Colored Overlays
    　→　 Hands-on practice using the IRPS

    About Registration

    • Requirements:
      Teaching certificate or graduate degree in education, pschology,counselling, assessment, speech, occupational therapy or rehab.,or working with literacy in the prison system or a literacy program.
